PostgreSQL 7.4.2 32 bit build and test works fine on HP PA 11.11 & IPF 11.22 . But 64 bit build
on HP PA & IPF failed during the testing.
$ ./postmaster -D /var/opt/iexpress/postgresql &

$ ./createdb test

database "template1", SSL off
$ ./createdb -h 127.0.0.1 test
createdb: could not connect to database template1: could not connect to server: Not owner
Is the server running on host "127.0.0.1" and accepting
TCP/IP connections on port 5432?
Any help would be much appreciated.
