List pgsql-odbc

From: pgsql-odbc-owner@postgresql.org [mailto:pgsql-odbc-owner@postgresql.org] On Behalf Of Dockerty Kevin (WORCESTERSHIRE ACUTE HOSPITALS NHS TRUST)
I am using this via a SQL server linked server ( SQL Server 2008r2 ), running on 64bit Windows Server

The connection works fine, but I find that queries are very slow to execute – even simple queries ( select * from [small_table] )

Using PGAdmin III the same queries will run in a couple of seconds or less.

In addition to Adrian’s questions, how slow?  Does it take more than 10 seconds?

Why don’t you try ODBC Trace in the ODBC Data Source Administrator?  It saves the name and duration of each ODBC API call in a text file.
