I’ve now verified this on three machines. The OS is Win 2000, the driver is 7.02.0100,
And the error is always that the program cannot ‘read’ memory at an address. When you
Drop into the debugger, the error below is what is seen. The application is MS Project
2000 version 9.0.2000.0224. The error pops up instantly when the odbc system connection is
defined and you hit ‘OK’ to use it.
How to replicate:
Go to ‘save as’ in MS Project, press the ODBC button
Define a system datasource using any of the postgresql ODBC drivers.
Select byte as LO
Fill in relevant fields for the remote database.
Click OK to use and watch it die.
