I havn't got the new sources yet, but this will definitly not work since
$host is already lower case ("i386-pc-qnx4").
The upper case "QNX" comes from "uname -s" as was stated below.

uname -s | tr '[:upper:]' '[:lower:]'
returns "qnx" on QNX4.
