CHAR(16) is an international conference to celebrate and showcase the significant developments the leading PostgreSQL engineering teams have made in the areas of Clustering, High Availability and Replication.
This year’s CHAR conference will take place in New York, December 06, 2016 (with an additional training day on December 07) and will bring together the most prominent organizations, thought leaders and contributors to database engineering and science, to present and discuss this highly important topic.
Call for Papers

We’re looking for innovative, creative, visionary and may be even disruptive presentations on the theme of ‘Scalability for Business’. The mission of the event is to provide a platform for speakers to demonstrate the significant role database science and development plays in the modern economy. The topic is broad and has scope to approach a paper from many aspects, to appeal to an audience who are technical or technically aware and want to lean about how experts in our industry are addressing real-world challenges in database design, data management, data access and storage.
