How do I return values that begin with non-alphabet characters from a search? - Mailing list pgsql-sql

Hi,
How do I find names in a table that begin with non-alpha characters?

Like.     "2B-Rich. Pty Ltd"  or "#1 Business".

I can get those that start with "A" for example ( 'A%' ), but how do I cover
the range of non alphas?
