PostgreSQL cannot run. - Mailing list pgsql-admin

Hi:

I use Debian + PostgreSQL 7.2.

when I want to start PostgreSQL

/uusr/local/pgsql/bin/postmaster -D /usr/local/pgsql/data

PGSTAT: bind(2): Cannot assign requested address

Why?
