Its probably been done before but you have asked to be informed about successful installs.
 
I installed
version : postgress 6.2
Linux :   2.2.1
Slackware  : 3.6
PC Intel Pentium 166 MMX
Compiled with linux-elf egcs (can't remember which version but is the original that came with slackware 3.6)
 
Ran regression tests:
2 fails:   Geometry
             Views
