font-family:Arial">I sent a message earlier asking for help configuring the psql libraries so I can compile programs.
I’mstill having trouble, but I’ve come up with a very sloppy way of getting around actually haveing to compile programs
withpsql support for now. I am still very interested in any information anyone can give me about getting programs to
compilethat use the libpq and libpq++ libraries. I do not want to have to use this sloppy hack for too long. If anyone
knowsof any documents, etc that will help me know how to set up my environment, my gcc/g++ compilers, or where to put
thelibraries, and header files I will be most grateful. So far I have done a make install-all-headers, and set up my
environmentaccording to the documents on the postgresql website, but still I cannot get programs to compile. I am using
gcc2.96-85, and postgresql 7.1.3 on Redhat 7.1 with kernel 2.4.16.</span></font><p class="MsoNormal"><font face="Arial"
