I agree with this - the 3ware IDE RAID controllers are really, really
good. Get your hands on one if you want a top-notch RAID with IDE hard
drive prices. Most of the issues people have had with IDE raid have
been addressed.. and with 160GB IDE drives coming in, its possible to
build 1 terabyte RAID for $2k-$3k USD.
