If Postgres ProGate console applications are installed, executable files are located in the /opt/pgpro/progate/bin/ directory.

The user that is automatically created for operation of the progate service has no permissions to run the interactive command-line shell.

For Postgres ProGate console applications, create the OS user under which the console applications are launched in the interactive mode. In this case, the configuration files and working directory must be located in the user's home directory (or a different directory for which the user has write permissions).
