ProGate is designed for data migration and replication between different source and destination databases, later referred to as sources and destinations.

ProGate consists of the following components:

  • procopy — a utility for initial data loading from a source to a destination.

  • prosync — a utility for CDC-based replaying changes to a source on a destination (CDC — change data capture).

  • procheck — a utility to verify data after a migration from a source to a destination.
