52.1. Viewing a CPU Usage Report #

  1. In the navigation panel, go to MonitoringAccounting.

  2. In the top-left corner of the page, specify the period for displaying the CPU usage report.

The following parameters will be displayed at the top of the page:

  • Total CPU usage: The total amount of time during which server CPU cores were used by all instances over the specified time period.

  • Standard: The total amount of time during which server CPU cores were used by Postgres Pro Standard instances over the specified period.

  • Enterprise: The total amount of time during which server CPU cores were used by Postgres Pro Enterprise instances over the specified period.

  • Other editions: The total amount of time during which server CPU cores were used by instances with other Postgres Pro editions, such as PostgreSQL and 1C, over the specified period.

Below, the CPU usage report table with the following columns will be displayed:

  • Instance.

    This column includes additional information:

    Cluster: The cluster to which the instance is added.

  • Server: The name of the server which hosts the instance.

  • CPU architecture: The server CPU architecture.

  • Postgres Pro version: The version of Postgres Pro used by the instance server.

    This column includes additional information:

    Edition: The edition of Postgres Pro used by the instance server.

  • Tags: Tags that are assigned to the instance.

  • CPU usage: The total amount of time during which server CPU cores were used by the instance over the specified time period.

  • Last snapshot: The date and time when the last snapshot of the instance server CPU usage was created.

  • System identifier: The unique system identifier of either the standalone instance or the cluster to which the instance belongs.
