58.6. Truncating Tables Manually #

You can manually truncate tables specified in housekeeping rules. This is helpful when your disk is almost or already out of space, and you want to avoid a disk-full server crash. When truncating, all data in the table is cleaned immediately.

The TRUNCATE SQL command is executed when truncating.

To truncate a table:

  1. In the navigation panel, go to SettingsRepository.

  2. Click Clear table • TRUNCATE next to the housekeeping rule.

  3. Confirm the operation and click Clear.
