70.4. Configuring aqo Parameters #

You can configure aqo parameters even if the extension is disabled. In this case, the updated configuration parameters take effect when aqo is enabled.

To configure aqo parameters:

  1. In the navigation panel, go to MonitoringQuery plan management.

  2. In the top-right corner of the page, select the instance.

The table of configuration parameters with the following columns will be displayed:

  • Parameter: The configuration parameter name.

To open the official Postgres Pro documentation for a configuration parameter, click the parameter name.

  • Value: The current configuration parameter value. It can be a switch, a drop-down list, or an input field.

  • Default value: The default configuration parameter value.

  • Source: The source of the configuration parameter value. For example, default means the parameter uses its default value.

The displayed configuration parameters may vary depending on the version and edition of Postgres Pro installed on the instance, as well as on the aqo version.

You can perform the following actions with configuration parameters using buttons in the bottom-right corner of the page:

  • To reset parameters to their default values, click Reset.

  • To apply the new parameter values, click Save.

If any updated parameters require an instance restart to take effect, select Apply N changes and restart the instance or Apply N changes, but restart the instance manually later in the opened window, and then click Apply.
