Part I. Overview

Postgres Pro AXE is a PostgreSQL-based analytical DBMS for large OLAP (online analytical processing) workloads. It is designed to process queries in analytical systems and data platforms, as well as to develop data storages in accordance with DWH (data warehouse) and Lakehouse architectures. Postgres Pro AXE can be used as a standalone DBMS or to extend an existing Postgres Pro Enterprise deployment with analytical capabilities.

This solution delivers reports in seconds, processes terabytes and petabytes of data, and supports hybrid workloads, allowing both OLTP (online transaction processing) and OLAP on the same servers.
