Sunday Outage

Hello,

Now that things have cleared up. CMD had a massive outage today that
effected all of CMD's network. This outage was caused by a global
failure in the main UPS system driving the facility.

The funny part about it was, because of the failure nobody could get
into the building because the magnetic locks kicked in :)

Anyway, I would like to publicly thank
Spiretech.com/Portlandcolocation.com for their remarkable response.
They were onsite within 30 minutes and had the UPS vendors on site
within an hour.

With there help were were able to restore 90% of services with 3 hours
of the failure.

Sincerely,

Joshua D. Drake

Neptune hung up, and nobody paged me to let me know there was a problem, so I
didn't notice it until I woke up the next morning ...
