Thanks very much for the information, we'll take it all on board.
We've managed to get some sponsorship to cover the meetup subscription and
food+drinks for the first few meetings.
If someone could please add our meetup to the postgres home page that would

We're looking at the 27th of October for our first meeting. In the process
of finding an appropriate speaker for the first meeting. Next... start
finding more attendees....

I suggest contacting organizers of other OSS user groups in Brisbane (Python, Linux, etc.) to see if you can advertise to them. This can be added using our admin interface and will appear on our “User Groups” page; I will take care of this today.
