ok, I found the problem ...
this is wrong:
SELECT count(pages) FROM scanns WHERE tipus='esc' AND pages IS NULL;
=> 0
this is the correct:
SELECT count(*) FROM scanns WHERE tipus='esc' AND pages IS NULL; => 70
