Hi,

Could you tell why it is less secure to run postmaster in IP sockets
than using Unix sockets ?

PS: I am awaiting for the final release of Postgres' book  , as a not-e.professional
working in a not-dot.industry I still prefer a book's touch over a monitor's glare ...
