List pgsql-interfaces
On win*:
1. You need the postdrv.exe from www.postgresql.org .
2. Configure to postdriver through the ODBC tool in win*(ip adresse of the pgsql server userid etc.)

On Linux:
3. configure the pgsql conf with the ip adresses that are alloved to access.
4. start the postmaster with the -i option(allowing socket connection)

That's all as far as I remember you can now make a link to the postgresdatabase/tables.
(If this is what you meant)

Poul
